Ron Paul Nov 25-Dec 2 On the Rise

Ron Paul is on the rise. Released on November 30th, Paul has surpassed opponent Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney in third quarter fundraising total. With over one month left in the fourth quarter, Paul has raised over $10.5 million and expected to pass his goal of the $12 million mark. After the CNN/YOUTube debate on November 29, Paul received 47% of CNN voters out of 30,000 voters believing he was the clear winner of the debate; he was followed by Mick Huckabee with 23% of the vote.
Ron Paul had an interview with Wolf Blitzer about being called an “isolationist” by McCain during the debate on Thursday and Paul responded, “Isolationism isn’t what I advocate, I advocate non intervention, not getting involved in the internal affairs of other nations” and “not pretending that a country like Iraq is equivalent to NAZI Germany. Iraq had no navy and no weapons of mass destruction, and had nothing to do with 911.” While this proves to be a great solution, since he is running under the Republican ticket, how will Republicans feel about him not supporting the Iraq War? Will that cause them not to vote for him for fear of him not supporting our country?
Surprisingly, Paul won on December 2 in an informal straw poll in Virginia beating leader Thompson by 70 votes. Not to mention Paul is at 7% in the Iowa polls now. His ethanol subsidy and no war strategy is gaining support among Republicans. Also, Paul rose up to 6% from 1% in South Carolina poll now trailing Giuliani for fifth place.
This Ron Paul mania is sweeping the nation, don’t be the last one to join his campaign and help him meet his $12 million mark!
