Paul Update March 2-9
On the 4th, Forbes.com released an op-ed written by Paul. Among other things regarding this country's economy, Paul noted that he "believe[s] that for our economy to be secure in the long term, Congress must reassert its authority and end the unconstitutional Federal Reserve." On the 6th, Paul released a video addressed to his supporters. In the video, Paul thanked them for their "enuthusiasm and hard work," while saying that "elections are short term efforts, revolutions are long term projects." Furthermore, Paul announced that he hopes that this revolution will continue but not as the "Ron Paul Revolution," suggesting an end to his presidential run. Although his campaign has come to an end, it is clear that with his grassroot support, this "revolution" is just beginning.

I think it is great that Ron Paul is taking so much initiative to further continue his “revolution”. By releasing a video and an op-ed written by himself, he is showing his supporters that his beliefs are still strong and he will keep fighting for the end of the Federal Reserve. I personally agree with Ron Paul and thing that we should put and end to the Federal Reserve. It will be very exciting to keep watching Paul in his efforts to end the Federal Reserve, but also to see what else he will do to continue and re-affirm his beliefs after dropping out of the presidential race.
Ron Paul had a very interesting run in this years Presidential election. He battled John McCain all the way through the primaries on the War in Iraq. Perhaps he will be the reason McCain is so prepared to deal with the attacks that will certainly be waged on him by the Democratic party. Paul forced McCain to refine his policies and speak more eloquently to his debators. "Most Improved Award in Debate" goes to McCain, thanks to Paul.
